Fireplace and Chimney safety

Unmaintained equipment and chimney's are a leading cause of home fires as well as possible sources of carbon monoxide gasses (CO). FAST Training at an acquired structure

The last couple of Monday night drills consisted of FAST training at an acquired structure, focused on rescue and removal of a downed member. One scenario was using a roof ladder that gets placed in a basement window to provide an alternate way to remove a firefighter in distress.
